Grandfather Mountain

This past weekend, some friends and Jason and I rented a mountain cabin right outside of Boone and Blowing Rock. It was just what we needed after 3 weeks of 100+ heat in good ole Raleighwood. The cabin was on a mountain in the woods, had a great trout fishing creek in the back and a wonderufl hottub that we all took use of. It was a very nice getaway. Brayden and Jason woke up and went fishing early one morning and caught a HUGE rainbow trout! They were so excited. I took Brayden on Friday to Mast General Candy store and the Grandfather trout farm. Brayden caught soem huge fish, and Emma followed him around with the net. It was too cute! On Saturday the Griswalds all went to Grandfather Mountain. After much anticipation, EVERYONE crossed the mile high swinging bridge! We all enjoyed the wonderful veiws! We had a fabulous weekend of food, fun and relaxation!
