Well, its been a busy month...Christmas came and went, New Years came and went, and once again, we are left wondering...why does time fly by?!
We had a great time in St. John, VI for Christmas. It was very different- but we did what we could to make it special, we had a revolving, colored light Christmas tree- much to Brayden's excitement! We decked out the place in Christmas garb and celebrated like we would have at home, just it was 80 degrees, crystal clear, and tropical. On Christmas eve, we (along with the entire island local crew) went down to the ferry landing to watch Santa come on a lit up boat and see the children, complete with reggae music, BBQ and hot dogs, and ELVES! It was a very neat experience...and really makes you think about different cultures. On Christmas day, we went to a place called Christmas cove- it was really great...and such a fun way to celebrate!
We did everything there is to do in St. John including snorkeling, which was Brayden's absolute favorite- he has gotten very good at this and can not wait to do it in WB- hum....that will be a little different scenery...but we can try! We came back to reality and pretty cold weather, but had the best time with the whole family and feel very lucky that we can all be together for 8 days and enjoy every minute of it!
and my pictures are very small and I will have to fix that later!
